ERTC Supports AI-Driven Entrepreneurship Through the Erasmus+ CRE-AI Project

European Research Training Consultancy (ERTC) is contributing to the Erasmus+ CRE-AI – Empowering Startups through AI project, a European initiative aimed at strengthening artificial intelligence competencies among entrepreneurs, startup teams, and vocational education and training (VET) professionals.

Co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ KA210-VET programme, CRE-AI brings together three organisations from Italy, the Netherlands, and Germany. Coordinated by The Qube Consulting SRL (Italy), the partnership includes ERTC (Netherlands) and Smart LEAP Education Research Consultancy GmbH (Germany).

The project aims to make artificial intelligence more accessible and applicable in business environments by developing three key educational resources: an open-access online course (CRE-AI MOOC), a practical Facilitator Kit, and a dedicated Training Programme for VET professionals. These resources will help entrepreneurs integrate AI into their daily operations while supporting trainers in delivering innovative, practice-oriented learning experiences.

As a project partner, ERTC leads the activities related to AI tools and the development of the CRE-AI MOOC, contributing its expertise in digital education, applied research, and innovative training methodologies.

Following the successful kick-off meeting in Brindisi, Italy, ERTC hosted the project's second transnational meeting in Tilburg, the Netherlands, on 9–10 July 2026. The meeting focused on reviewing progress, refining the MOOC structure, and coordinating the development and testing of educational resources.

Through CRE-AI, ERTC continues to support digital transformation, entrepreneurial innovation, and international cooperation in vocational education and training.
